when you piss off your girlfriend, your day will come to pay... this guy's girlfriend was so freaking outraged that he wasn't treating her cats like gods, that she took his family heirloom '72 F100 (grandfather to father to him) to a scrapyard to get $400
John said that he got into an argument with his live-in girlfriend of two years over not caring for their cats. By the sounds of things, it was a dispute over the split of domestic duties that she felt he hadn't held up his end on. He left and went to a bar to get drunk with a buddy.
After returning from the bar, John noticed his prized truck was gone. His girlfriend allegedly admitted to selling the truck to a nearby junkyard for $400, using a forged signature.
John filed a police report for a stolen truck and began scouting nearby junkyards before a friend eventually found it. The Ford was recovered, but in worse condition than it was last seen: its bodywork was damaged, some rust had formed, and its brakes had an unknown problem. As for John's ex, she has reportedly been charged with a Class 1 felony and faces a $5,000 fine—plus a civil lawsuit from John.

a new Blastolene Brothers car was at the Art Center Car Classic, and it's taken me 6 weeks to learn what it is! Michael Leeds' “Blown Ranger” Fairchild XFR0001 made around 2011
the engine is a NOS crate 1942 Ranger V770, used in airplanes during WW2, 520-hp 12.7-liter V-12, which Micheal Leeds was working with back in 2010 to get it warmed up in the below video, which was once owned by Art Arfons
it was built by Dan Dechant, who engineered a better lube oil system for it
and since I've never met Micheal, but have met both the other Blastolene Brothers, Randy Grubb and Rodney Rucker, I figure I should add this following video so you and I both get to know him a little more. He was the creator of Big Bertha, and the term Blastolene is derived from a barbecue sauce Leeds created for a restaurant he once owned
to see the build webpage, which goes into some things like the cooling fins and headers fab: http://blastoland.com/blastoland/BLOWN_RANGER_BUILD.html
and I didn't know it, but Car and Driver did an article about the Blastolene Brothers

The authorized, definitive book on Randy Grubb (A Blastolene Brother) is nearly available!
and it blows my mind to say, they found my photos of the Indy Roadster to be good enough to include in the book! How cool is that! From the 2009 LaJolla Concours http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2009/01/blastolene-indy-special.html
The full-color, 8.5” x 11” book is 100 pages with 165 photos, and eight illustrations by artists Don Tippit, Tim “Frogman” Cotterill, and Randy Johnson.
there are 8 videos on Youtube besides this, from Randy's Garage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWQ4Qs09T4s start there with episode 1

I'm allways intrigued to see where my photos end up, this time, a website from Curacao
the full gallery of the Decoliner from the Long Beach event of 2011: http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2011/10/blastolene-brothers-invent-again-randy.html
I still find it a compliment that anyone likes my photos more than the rest on the internet of some specific thing, but wouldn't it be cool if they would get in touch so I could talk car stuff with other enthusiasts that have a website? hell yeah!
