Max Verstappen'll be trading his F1 race car for a go-kart in a forthcoming race, where he'll take on 100 other drivers from all walks of life to find out if he really is the best there is on Disney+. Called Max vs. 100 on September 16th, 2026

the race will put Verstappen at the very back of a 101-kart field, and he'll have to fight his way through all of them to get to the front. 

The field will be made up of celeb athletes like ultrarunner Arda Saatçi, basketball shooting specialist Chris "Lethal Shooter" Matthews, and freestyle mountain biker Matt Jones. Also, online streamers TheGrefg, Caedrel and TheDonato along with other content creators, personalities, and fans from all around the globe.

The race will happen at Silverstone where the track has been modified to support karting. The track race director, David Terrien, made sure that the track is ready for the karts saying, "Creating a track for 101 drivers at the same time has never been done, never been seen, so it's very exciting."
