Wow, definitely a California Jeep. Any CJ that old out here in New England would have rust holes in the floor big enough to lose a small dog, no worry about a little rain.
By the way, you may know this, but you see that odd little indentation in the rear quarter panel? When I was a kid, we had a CJ5, and I always wondered what that was for, along with an odd raised panel in the front cowl. Then I went to some Boy Scout function at a local armory, and they had one there. It was for the mounting of a model-specific anti-aircraft gun.
