Martin PBM-3S Mariner “Pyramid Hill” caravan was produced in Australia from the twelve RAAF surplus Mariners transports disposed at Lake Boga in 1945-46.
My '55 was Black and white, so it's not mine......Second car bought for $100. from a good neighbor lady with a bad engine in 1965. Put a 301 and then a 331 with an Isky 310 Hydraulic Cam. Done with valve adjustments. Thanks to the draft of 1966 we had to part....Dang-it!
a hundred bucks, and a couple engine swaps? Dang! Might have even been junkyard engines? Probably, so, another hundred in parts and stuff... still a great score! What's the difference between the draft, and enslavement? Draftees get shot at and have to wear uniforms that get inspected
