So this is the photo I posted yesterday, and had no clue what the vehicle was, and had never seen the wheels before, and wondered what the story about them was.
in 1935 Greece purchased 224 of the tractors from FIAT, which were used to tow Schneidere 105mm and 150mm howitzers, and since the above photo is supposed to have been part of the soldiers time in Greece, that makes sense

The Italians seem to have made some very interesting tractors over the years. A friend some years ago had an Italian Cast tractor, to which I hope a link below will point. It was a little diesel-powered, 4 wheel drive tractor, articulated in the middle, and one of its great features was that the seat and steering could be reversed, so you could face forward in either direction.
