The plan to toll drivers in Manhattan south of 60th Street was designed to reduce gridlock and pollution while funding billions worth of mass transit upgrades.
Instead, it would result in protests, voters trying to get the opposition elected, etc
I don't particularly like Hochul. I'm not familiar with her policies or how good or bad her administration is. Having said that, Cuomo resigned after allegations of sexual harassment from several women became public. Unless Hochul was somehow gidding Cuomo's hand when he gropped all those women I don't know how she could have gotten rid of Cuomo.
It is called accountability. Cuomo is responsible for Cuomo's actions and for his downfall. In other words, Don't do the crime if you can't do the time...
First she underhandedly and out of the eyes of the public got rid of Gov. Cuomo. Now, she is doing worse things for the State of NY.
