Some people made a documentary of Isky... problem is, they have no distribution, so... there's no way to see it. Then, what's the damn point of making it if no one can see your movie?

If this forum (blogger) won't play the preview, then go to https://www.iskythedocumentary.com/
obviously, the makers will not allow it on You Tube due to copyrights legalities

https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a60884257/ed-iskenderian-documentary-isky  read this article, it has Isky telling some stories you've never heard before

There are a lot of movies like this that I've posted about over the years. Some passion project that isn't' released in any way that anyone can access. Whatever the goal is, I'm not aware of what that could be beyond getting the info recorded before the subjects die. How these movies ever recoup the expenses of recording? No idea.

Why isn't there a film festival with these? Again, no idea. There are enough car conventions where the target audience gathers in large enough numbers, that after the day's races, or convention hall closes (SEMA closes at 5, most others probably are the same) that the movies could be shown, or tickets sold to recoup the movie making expenses

  1. I have an Isky 280H cam in the 392 that I put in the 1947 Mercury that I bought in 1967
