I'm guessing this guy owns the rail road, and told the company to get him a real NICE inspection car. Interesting license plate, Virginia 1960, but the letters to the left of the 6 are something odd

  1. I think "conv" was the prefix for vehicles used both commercially and personally. My vague recollection is that Connecticut used to have a similar class they called "comb" for combination use, and you'd see it occasionally on pickups and wagons that were used in family farms and businesses.
