Marc B found the same image on Ebay, in better focus, and now it's easy to see the door image is the Rhino for Armstrong Tires leaning on a tire, and that is also above the gas station door.
The writing at the bottom of the door says Armstrong Tires
On the delivery wagon panel, you can now make out that it says Elkes-onized

The illustrator for this ( Keith Ward usually did the Armstrong cartoon rhino ads also Frederick Siebel ) did about a dozen variations on the rhino in different poses, even in a tux. The paint scheme on the Pontiac looks really good. I can't tell if the roof and the sides are the same color or different.

The door has an Armstrong tire logo, like the one above the shop door, that I think is a rhino, and it says Armstrong Tires on the bottom of the door. I can't tell what is written by the door handle.
The sign on the rear panel says "Elkes-onized Certified Service"
