If I knew you liked working on someone else's brakes I would have fixed you up. The commute might have been a bit of a problem but we could have worked out something. Have fun Jesse!
let me try and be accurate... I like working on cars, and being a mechanic. I like helping people. I do not like how that turns out, when the person is thinking I'm doing it as their employee... when it's me offering to help, nor, did I find his attitude pleasant, that he was in a hurry, but utterly unprepared, and blaming me for taking all day. Yes, it too 5 hours, not because I didn't have the tools, or let him do a halfass job unsafely. So, it did not go well, he didn't choose to take the time to bleed the brakes, nor test the job, etc. Well, not my car, not my problem, and there won't be another offer to help him. I'm just going to try and not let it change my willingness to be a helpful friend to others.
