I think you could be right, but, you don't mention if you are referring to what your dad called it to be giving it a nickname, or, if you refer to what you think GMC called it. I however, know something about this GMC, and because I know the truck, I call it a Suburban. It happens to have been to SEMA in 2018 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvMhaa6woPU And I remember it from that year, as the work on it is really really good
I think back then it was called the Carryall. My Dad bought one in '68 and that was what it was called.
