It took 4 hours and 4000 gallons of water to stop the batteries on this Tesla from reigniting! Eventually they dug a hole, filled it with water and dragged the doomed electric vehicle into the pool of water to extinguish the blaze.
In my opinion that is exactly what they all should look like! Rate this country is going we all will be driving a buggy with a wind sail in the back. Glad I'm near the end of the trail!
So, the air and water and ground pollution from ONE electric car fire, equals how many millions of miles traveled in a normal Camry, Accord or Hyundia ?
Ive read that 15 minutes of a leaf blower pollutes the same as driving a Camry or Accord 1500 miles.
Oh wow, that's a great point! the electric car fire one... and that also connects with the ice cream truck story I posted, all that added burden on theicer cream truck owner to go green, but just one battery pack has a fire, and ALL the good those battery packs might have done, is undone. Of course, any one volcano is polluting enough to undo all the pollution and green house gas efforts we are trying, as a human race, to prevent. Yeah, little motors, like leaf blowers, and grass trimmers, and chain saws, are not clean burning.
When will humans stop believing that, they alone "control" the destiny of the planet that all living beings inhabit! They think that a couple of centuries of enlightenment make them soothsayers. Record temps announced every year. FFS.,they're only talking ,what,150-200 yrs. BUT,they know it all. And,how often do we hear an alternative viewpoint! Geez...don't get this old bastard started.
