we used to do that with out motorcycles when I was a kid. my first bike was a Honda CT Trail 90, and my friend had a Honda XL-70 we would remove the back half of the muffler and clamp on a fiberboard cone we found in an abandoned textile mill, that magnified the sound and made a 70cc sound like a Harley. I had two mufflers, a very quiet one, and a lound one, and a quick change setup, I lived on a state park, my father was a ranger, and he wouldnt allow us to ride on the park with loud mufflers.

Nice set up! That must have been fun to ride a trail bike as a kid!
