one of only 45, front disc brake optioned ,'69 Hemi R/T found in an Indiana storage unit has only 58,165 miles and is a "stripe delete," making it even rare. No power steering though (thank you Mike!)

best real car story I've learned in a while, Victor's R/T was a dealership showroom draw

looks like a shifter boot mounted in the driver side air box... so far, I've only found that is a relief area to allow the brake master cylinder on a 69 and 70 Hemi Coronet to not hit the air box (thank you Brett!)
I've got a 69 R/T, and it's got some weird funky drivers side replacement air box, so now every time I look at another N96 equipped 69 Coronet, I am wondering if I'm going to see the usual, or something weird

interesting Mopar trivia, I've never heard of until now, in a Hagerty article

I've now had a 1969 Coronet for 27 years, and been pondering what style of rims would look best on it... way back in 95 I got my Super Bee a set of Weld Street Stars, and my R/T came with stock Magnum 500s
these examples of 1969 Coronets are not mine, they simply show what a 69 Coronet looks like with the rims I like, and will someday pick from
So, favorite rim designs I like, and am most likely to choose from are Keystone classics, slotted mags, Cragar SS, factory steel, dog dish hubcaps on factory steel, factory recall rims, slotted mags and Torque Thrust D
I think the Keystones look best, what do you think? And I'm not rushing out to buy rims. But someday I'll be upgrading the rims and tires so there's more contact patch, especially on the front tires.

wow, there's a 1969 Coronet R/T in Midland Texas (no power train, no VIN) on Ebay, that someone with ambition to build a cool muscle car ought to snap up for the low price of 3 thousand dollars. IF they have about 60k to invest in it
this gets my attention, not because it's a shell, but because my old Dodge is a yellow 1969 Coronet R/T. Mine doesn't have the fender top turn signals, or the power bulge hood... or the side scoops.
Hell, I suspect this was a plain Coronet, Coronet 500, or Super Bee, as all it has that says it's an R/T is the trunk mounted "R/T" badge.
There's no VIN, there's no title. So, the next owner can make it whatever they want

waiting in the garage for good weather, with hood and headlights set for racing... but the bumperettes?
when you have an air dam under the bumper, you really ought to tell your bumper it's no longer on taxi duty, and it's time to look ready to join the headlights and hood in the winners circle
