Your coffee and donuts video of the day, just the zen of a rolling wheel Thank you Raymond G!

  1. AMAZING!
It would be interesting to know if, after the experiment, they rescued the wheel and threw it in the trash, or left it littering the desert.

    1. No! Those of us that love the desert would not ever desecrate it like that. The only thing you leave are footprints and tyre tracks. This seemingly little run at a record has somehow revitalised my 78 yr old love of desert.I just have to get back up there,at least one more time. If you travel and love desert, come to South Australia..or anywhere in Aus. actually. You will not want to leave.

    2. I agree, leave nothing behind but tracks and your shadow, and I am going to guess they did get that tire on their way out, after all they are in the middle of no where, and will be moving through a lot of desert to get back, no reason to think they aren't heading in the same direction that tire went rolling.

    3. and it's not likely that I'll ever be able to afford to travel back to Australia, I was there in 98 when in the Navy, and we pulled into Perth Harbor and NSS Gladstone, and were bussed down to Brisbane from Gladstone. I loved it!
I never got anywhere near the desert though. Not enough time for the travel etc, and the priority for me was to see the city of Brisbane.
It was really cool to see the wallabies and roos, both in town, and on the way to a nearby dam, a really huge one
