Rides on the Goodyear Blimp are not available for sale. Instead, the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company directs the public interest in flights toward helping community nonprofits. Over the past five years, the Goodyear Blimp has reportedly helped raise more than $1.5 million.
I went and checked for the heck of it and the bid is up to $10,100.
ReplyDeletewow... it's many months of paychecks at that price, for me, for maybe an hour of a ride? Someone must be very rich to afford that ride. I guess that's probably not much more than chartering a helicopter. I heard that flying on a private jet is about 50k. That was a couple decades ago.
