ever hear about the brake lights, IN the trunk, of a Buick Cascada, only visible when the trunk is open? Weird

  1. I guess it would have to since the lights are on the trunk lid and people sometimes drive with their trunks open while hauling oversized objects. But no, I didn’t know so thank you very much for posting that!

    1. if more companies did the brake lights in the trunk, then the idea that it's related to oversized loads would make a lot more sense... but, with only one car model? My guess, is that there might be a legal requirement to have brake lights/parking lights showing when a trunk lid is raised... this car model only has external rearward lights on the trunk lid. Don't most cars split the light between some on the lid, some on the body, or all the lights on the body, and when the trunk is open, they are still getting the job done?
