a bit odd looking, a Silver King Model 42

  1. Silver King tractors were built in Plymouth, Ohio, so they are popular with collectors in my area.

According to the website below, the company that made them, Fate-Root-Heath, made some trucks and one car under the "Plymouth" name in the 1910s, then started calling the tractors Plymouths in the 1930s. By this time, Chrysler was selling Plymouth cars, and they didn't like the name being used for tractors. Fate-Root-Heath was ruled to have rights to the Plymouth name because of the car built earlier, so Chrysler bought the name from them. The tractors were changed to be called Silver Kings.
