The Sno*Drift Rally is a performance rally about 60 miles south of the Mackinac Bridge and 20 miles East of the I 75, that features prepared 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive cars running icy, snow banked roads across the back roads of the lower peninsula of Michigan without studded tires at high speeds. These cars race on real roads in a time based competition for two days of racing on Montmorency County roads over snow and ice.
It is the only planned snow event on the Rally America National Championship schedule.
This year Sno*Drift will feature about 20 stages that run a total distance of 130 miles of slippery and extremely challenging roads demanding full concentration from the driver and co-driver in keeping the car from getting stuck in snowbanks.
This dedicated snow and ice event is the most unique on the Rally America National Championship calendar promising plenty of sliding
