For all of us that pay attention to name brands, and what companies do in the name of business (versus customer interaction or product development) it may come as a shock to learn that the Trico wiper blade company bought Fram and Autolite
No doubt with the poor quality of Fram oil filters as we just saw in that comparison video, their corporate value had to be minimal... and with all the competition that outpaced Autolite in better tech and materials, this may not come as the shock it would have been in the 70s
But I'm plenty shocked that the wiper blade company out lasted, and out performed Fram. After all, there hasn't been any improvement of the wiper blade design in decades

Trico owns:
ANCO blades
Carter fuel pumps,
Airtex fuel pumps, and
Strong Arm lift supports
