Turbo Rocket Fluid, unlike blinker fluid, actually was a GM product. A mixture of distilled water and methanol, sometimes with a rust inhibitor, used in the 1962 Oldsmobile Jetfire to cool the intake air and prevent engine knock.

Sold in a glass bottle stored the engine compartment or a one-gallon plastic bottle with Turbo-Rocket labeling.

Stahls Automotive Museum (just to the north of Detroit) has some movie cars including both the white and black cars from the Great Race, the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car, and the Von Dutch made yellow car from The Reivers (thank you Gary!)

a 55 Turbine prototype, or R and D special, I hadn't heard of that one! I wonder how undeveloped the turbine was, and how much trouble it gave them to finesse to run a car? (thank you Terry!)
