the Duke of Goodwood, has announced something vague about a Goodwood Road Racing Club of America, starting in California. Here is EVERYTHING ( very little ) that they tell us about it, but, it has 3 founding patrons: Sir Jackie Stewart, Mario Andretti and Richard Petty

So it looks like a private screening at Mann's Chinese Theater, or Willow Springs  in July 9th, 2027

and... looks like they are going to have Goodwood, at Willow Springs. It better not be during Comic Con!

The GRRC of America will of course offer US citizens the chance to attend the events that are already established as the best in the world at Goodwood, but new events will be introduced in the US to provide a brand-new opportunity for fans. The inaugural headline event will take place at Willow Springs in 2028.

Three founding patrons: Sir Jackie Stewart, Mario Andretti and Richard Petty — who have each been central figures at Goodwood events for many years — have been chosen as the embodiment of the spirit that the GRRC of America will embrace.

it was over the moment it began, the kid in the blue car was in about 7th position on the grid, and was off to the fast start, instantly took 1st, and held it to the finish line

It's GOAT day at Goodwood, and there is a Gogo T300, 250cc rear engine, in the tribute grid. It's the one like that driven by Jim Clark, two-time World Grand Prix Champion and the first British winner of the Indianapolis 500.

Clark competed in a Goggomobil at a club event in Edinburgh in 1957. He finished second in class.

In celebration of Clark at Goodwood Revival, they combined the two sides of his incredible life. 

He grew up a humble sheep farmer in the Scottish highlands and conquered motorsports in its entirety, winning in a plethora of series and iconic cars, represented by a collection on the grid.

Something I haven't heard of before at Goodwood Revival, the "Turning Circle at Gate 2" theme, this year's will celebrate peace, love, and good vibes in a nod to the Haight-Ashbury hippie movement.

the competition on the track between the Battlebird, the Austin and the Cooper Climax was fun to watch

Austin made a couple more 59 minis to race at the Goodwood Revival.

For 2025, Goodwood’s St Mary’s Trophy will be opened to pre-1960s cars, and Burlen, which owns the Austin nameplate has seized the opportunity to add some full-size Austins to its cute J40 pedal cars.

Lining up on the grid of the classic touring car race at the Revival will be two newly-built Austin Minis that are detailed recreations of the 1959 specification. The bodyshells and safety cages were supplied by Owens Fabrications in Wales, with Swiftune in Kent providing race-ready A-Series engines.

 I haven't seen ANY coverage of the monowheel on the run at Goodwood until I looked at their facebook page, and wouldn't even known they were there except for looking through the coverage from Lucian George aka dWrenched

I only just leaned a day ago that there is an off road rally trail at Goodwood Festival of Speed, and now I learn... Travis Pastrana was giving 150 second rides at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed’s Forest Rally grounds, to lucky passengers in the Subaru WRX ARA25 rally car

the WRX’s times on Friday were only about a second behind those of the top-flight World Rally Championship cars from Toyota, Hyundai, and Ford that were also contesting the stage this weekend.
