what is the story on that chopper's paint job? It's a CH-21 Shawnee, based on the Piasecki HRP-1, but that is a strange way to paint anything that flies... was it made into a kids playground?
Car is Opel Rekord, original post in German, background also looks central European zone. So the primary suspect is ex West Germany one, but this camo pattern is probably made just for show. Bananas had sometimes weird patterns around the world but nothing in form of "Belgian" camo.
Piasecki H-21 indeed. West German Army's Air Transport Service (not the Air Force - Luftwaffe) used them since the 1950s. After their decommissioning, several of these units were repainted in bright, multi-colored patterns and put on display as decorations across Germany in playgrounds, museum parking lots, or outside military bases. I can't pinpoint the exact location within Germany, but in the background those buildings looks like barracks.
