Someone found out the limits of what a car could do, the hard way, by exceeding those limits. I'm guessing spun out and crashed into a K rail.

The Cadillac and LaSalle gigantic rooftop neon billboard and timeclock on the Hotel Wolverine. The billboard seen from a great distance away even in the already well-lit Detroit nighttime skyline.
