Ever hear of a Super Quad? Not me. I love this hobby, learning new stuff all the time

Flowed 1250, and this was the rear in a dual quad set.

This was prepped by Dick Harrell.

The SuperQuads are rare, only made for 2 years, 1969 and 1970, and only available over the counter.

They were 850 and 1000cfm in stock form respectively.

  1. I was never a fan of TQ's - likely a case of 'familiarity breeds contempt' as they were factory install on big Mopar V8's and actually worked as well as can be expected in those choked off days. I was convinced at the time that it had to be Holley or nothing. Thanks for the photo, I haven't seen one in about forever. Oddly my Dodge Ramcharger (brother to the Plymouth Trailduster you recently posted) had a Delco Quadrajet factory fitted to it's 360. The only one I've seen of that combo from the factory, and you have to consider that every time they put together another combination it would cost many thousands of dollars to test and certify with the EPA before hitting the showrooms.
