WD 40... what are the unexpected uses for it?

I've already covered keeping a burglar out of a building air duct,

and getting a python to release a bus

But at SEMA I learned that some people have used it as a starter spray

Years ago WD-40 was an excellent starter fluid for 2 strokes because the propellant was propane.

Several years ago they changed the propellant to CO2.

Propane is used as fuel for fire, CO2 is used to put fires out.

There still may be a few stocks of the old formula out there. The cans are labelled "EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE". The new formula cans are simply labeled "flammable".
