the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD, one of the few factory weekend track stars, is expected to sell for around $325,000, 1/2 down to reserve one for the approved buyers

The GTD — named for the International Motor Sports Association’s Grand Touring Daytona racing class — comes from Ford’s engineering department.

Those wealthy enough to be selected to purchase a 2025 Ford Mustang GTD will have to put down a deposit of at least 50 percent of the vehicle’s purchase price to reserve their place on the list of buyers.

Since Ford no longer makes the GT, (2022 was the last) and the last few years of production weren't street legal, I'd say the GTD is their crown jewel.
