A train derailed on the bridge crossing the Yellowstone River in Stillwater County early Saturday morning, with six traincars carrying asphalt, three carrying molten sulfur and one containing ground up scrap metal.
Columbus Fire Chief Rich Cowger said authorities don't know yet what caused the incident, and are unsure if the Montana Rail Link train derailed first or if the bridge collapsed first. Those scenarios are part of the investigation.
Well, that's an "Oh, shit!" moment!
