a 2014 California law mandated that all single-walled underground storage tanks and piping must be permanently closed or upgraded to double-walled systems by December 31, 2025. As a result 477 gas stations will close.

At Thanksgiving we filled up in Mississippi for $2.30 a gallon
it's 1.93 at one station in Texas right now. But no, the 7 dollar a gallon image is not a current one, it's a photo that was on file, used by the source. Gas is about 4.50 a gallon all over San Diego. Still not great, but damn it, at least it came down from over 5 dollars when Biden was in office
