finally, a missing person report can be closed, a man missing from Arizona since Dec 2023 was pulled out of Lake Powell in his truck

the truck was spotted in the water over the Labor Day weekend on Lone Rock Beach within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.

So, why doesn't the simply obvious happen when people are missing, and there's a lake or river nearby... or even missing cars? Why is it that the police don't have an underwater search team?
