U.S. Customs and Border Protection has seized 32 stolen vehicles worth more than $3 million at the Port of Houston and Port of Galveston since October 2024
The 32 stolen vehicles recovered at the port would have been illegally transported to countries in the Middle East, West Africa, Central America and South America, and sold at a 20% markup, and the proceeds laundered with drug money to make it appear that all of the money came from the sale.
