Plano police arrest five people behind 29 car thefts worth $1.1 million, stolen across more than a dozen cities gyms and apartment buildings, in just two months, including Camaros and Corvettes, from parking lots across North Texas.
Investigators say the group flaunted the stolen rides on social media before selling them for cash, about $5,000 each. The thieves were renting storage units to store the stolen vehicles in.
