1 of 42 R code 1964 Mercs, 1 of 9 Parklane 2-Door fastbacks built (3 known to exist). Parnelli drove one of these to 7 wins in USAC


someone spent 3 years restoring this, and only made about 100k at auction... so, they earned about 14 an hour after the cost of parts and outsourcing some work to shops.

    I liked those Mercury's from that era, would love to build one up like a NASCAR racer. But keep it street legal.

    One of my all time favorite Mercury’s! The R code/ 4spd makes it V8 better. I once owned the same model but it was the 390/4brl, Cruise O matic, Black W/ white interior.
