The building with the second story picture window was Norman Rockwell’s studio in the early 1950’s, he had the window installed for better light. The same building, around the back, was where Alice and her husband had their restaurant where according to Arlo Guthrie you could get anything you want except’in Alice.
This was done about 15 miles from my house. Every year they recreate it using local vintage cars
