Wouldn't a car size battery be cheaper and smaller with a greater amperage potential? I've driven a Miata with a tiny battery 90 miles with a bad alternator, and it arrived with enough charge to crank over the engine.
Seems like a typical car battery would run a motorcycle ignition all day...
Not crazy at all, a good solution to a bad problem! Though I sort of agree, a car battery.... but... most off the shelf batteries are not fully charged when you buy them, whereas a generator has amps for as long as you put gas into it.
Well done sir!
