A rockslide brought down a massive boulder that did enough damage to require a couple weeks to repair enough to get traffic moving again on Route 7 near the West Huntington bridge, Chesapeake, Ohio


they made this much progress in just two days....  but the road is also damaged, that's going to take a while to fix after the truckloads of rubble are removed, and the possible future rockslide material is stabilized or removed

    There was another big giant rockslide on Ohio route 7 along the river some years ago. The whole side of the cut slid down onto the road, just south of East Liverpool.

      Thanks! I did post one last year, and thought it was the one you refer to, but nope. It was another. Strange number of big rockslides... they sure don't make the main news, and are a lot more often than I would have believed!

      I don't see a Laurel Hollow, but I bet you are referring to the cut just above the river in the middle of this image
