A friend of mine, (now 90) had a garage long ago, and had a Hotshot. He said it was surprisingly lively, owing to the light weight and the relatively high power output from the lightweight engine ( The Cobra engine being made of sheet metal, brazed up) . The engine didn't last long but it apparently went fast for while. At some point he also had a Cadillac-Allard I think, and later a dune buggy with a Corvair engine.
