The Danube's water levels have been falling, revealing finds from as far back as the Ice Age. Near the Serbian port of Prahovo, the remains of dozens of German battleships sunken during World War II, and the foundations of a bridge commissioned by Roman emperor Constantine I in 328 CE, near Gigen, Bulgaria
