the Barris Sidewinder... has tires on it from a DC 6!

the brakes are twin Hurst/AirHeart discs

So I'm guessing that the tires on the Tastee Big T were also DC 6 or aircraft tires, I found this in the LA Roadsters parking lot in 2010
