Chris Karamesines "The Greek" retired from drag racing at the end of the 2020 NHRA season, at the age of 89. He was the first driver to compete and be the fastest at over 78 years old in 2009 and made the decision to retire after the 2020 season.
ReplyDeleteThe following Monday, his granddaughter Krista would complete her top fuel licensing run in her grandfather's dragster. Just like Force, they open the door for their offspring to take over. It's not like anyone else can get into such a millionaires sport.
