Ah,if only all the C47/Dakota/DC3,s could talk!!! You'd need a dedicated library. My first flight as a cadet in the RAAF Air Training Corps. And,still flying somewhere. at Edinburgh,Sth.Aus. in 1963. Never forget it!And,still flying somewhere.
This C-47 was in my father's outfit, the 14th Squadron, 61th Trooper Carrier Group. The trains where for resupply missions in western Europe and the camels where for resupply missions in north Africa.
