I can't recall if I ever posted this before, a Jeep used for fueling prop planes, probably in Nam

  1. I never saw a red refueling truck or jeep. They were all OD Green. The Air Force might have had red refueling trucks but I never was on a big airfield for large Air Force airbase.

  2. Is that an intentional grounding wire at the front? And what's that on the front bumper? Great diorama potential here.

    1. I only have a photo, and guesses, no information. It looks like either a grounding wire (super safety item for fueling process) or winch, because its on a Jeep front bumper, , or search light based on shape, laying randomly on the front bumper like it was tossed there, facing the passenger side grill/fender

    2. Marc just found a high res version of this image, I added it to the post, that front bumper thing is now easy to see, it's an air tank and hose for pumping up tires

  3. I did a Google image search and found that Ewillys posted the picture in 2016. They say it was from St. Petersburg, FL
