During a grant-funded DUI enforcement operation, an autonomous vehicle made an illegal U-turn right in front of them at a light. Officers pulled over the vehicle, which had no human driver behind the wheel.

 Police said since there was no human driver, a ticket could not be issued.

Well then... no driver, means you can program your robo taxi to do anything illegal you wish, like drive a 100 mph, and you don't get ticketed. 

There you have it folks, companies and corporations are beyond the reach of the police department. Law Enforcement does not apply to corporations or companies.
