a 57 and 58 KR200 are coming to auction, museum pieces. Damn. I'd love one, then upgrade the seat, steering, handling, brakes and engine.

 

something like these, or a similar sized Bantam, or WW2 jeep, would be a great way to slowly see the country on a tour with no timeline or destination, except to find out what over the horizon, or down that other road, or how the food is in that diner

  2. In 2006 I accidentally came across one in a Tokyo suburb. Turned around, parked my bike next to it, owner came out and after a bit of grunting in the fashion of motorheads - him being entertained by the my Nimbus' exposed valve gear - he handed me the keys to the thing, for a brief test ride around the block. Nice little thing, but needs 20 bhp instead of the 6 it has.
