Steam punk fans, I have good news! A series just released on Netflix, called Leviathan, 12 episodes. WW1 Austrians vs Germans in an alternate steampunk past, an Austrian fugitive prince and a Scottish airman in disguise embark on an unexpected quest to prevent a world war.

the above is alot like a Star Wars AT AT

This anime adaptation of Scott Westerfeld’s acclaimed novels transports viewers to an alternate 1914, where bioengineered beasts battle mechanical war machines. At the heart of the story are a fugitive prince and a girl in disguise, whose journey aboard a living airship could change the course of history.

Alek, a fugitive prince of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and Deryn Sharp, a daring young girl disguised as a boy to serve in the British Air Service. When fate throws them together aboard the HMS Leviathan, a massive, living airship made from genetically engineered creatures, they embark on a world-changing adventure that will challenge everything they know about war, loyalty, and identity.

So, they use flying/floating jellyfish and whales, like balloons and blimps

    1. thank you Matt!
I just finished watching it, and can rate it a 7/10. The steam punk is really good, and unusual, (Constantinople machinery was great!) they have plenty of it, and the overall story of trying to prevent WW1, not bad! The editing could have cut enough material to make it a couple episodes shorter, and the maniacal Tesla was a bit over the top. But, hey, it's not bad, and it moves along from adventure to adventure ok, though a bit too much of the old guy trying to keep the prince safe so he can one day rule Austria. They could have dumped that entire story line and sped up the action.
