This Ford Pinto modified was built exclusively for the Permatex Corp. without any engine gaskets to prove that Permatex sealants were strong enough to withstand racing speeds on their own


NASCAR modified driver Ray Hendrick campaigned this car and a second machine, a 1968 Chevelle, was built under the same gasket-less technology for Bobby Allison to drive (c. 1974).
