a truck drove past construction barrels over the weekend in West Tennessee, and immediately learned the hard way WHY the barrels were in front of wet concrete. The rest of us, the smart ones, just know by looking at wet concrete, that we shouldn't drive on it.
Ain't no fixing that mess. Rip it out and re-do it
ReplyDeleteJessee, Was there any mention where in West Tennessee this took place? I am from there and I could not find any mention of it. Could have been some knucklehead I know. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAny idea where n West Tennessee? I am from Jackson but could find nothing in the area papers. Might be some old friends or even my younger brother. You just never know!
ReplyDeleteI almost always ignore the details, and just post the links to my sources, https://www.newschannel5.com/news/truck-drives-into-wet-concrete-after-attempting-to-avoid-construction-zone and https://www.facebook.com/newschannel5/posts/1137262481778191?ref=embed_post and neither link has the exact location, but the source is a Nashville news channel. The Tenn Dept of Transportation might have posted about it a week ago when it happened
DeleteBefore retiring I was a Mixer Driver. Downtown Seattle, fresh sidewalk with cones; a special person talking with his pals walked right into it. He got mad at us. We snickered, dope!
ReplyDeleteA couple of lady drivers did the same, again mad at us....Wa-wa-wa.
