A car dealership in Ballston Spa, NY is turning out Emmy-worthy videos
Imagine if The Office took place at a car dealership.
And that Michael Scott was a 22-year-old recent grad named Grace.
Instead of Scranton, PA it took place in Ballston Spa, NY.
Replace awkward scenes of paper pitches and employee orientations with 38-point turns in a Silverado 2500 and a commercial shoot for the Blazer EV meant for “the female gaze”.

The above is only episode 1 of 9.
A car dealership in Saratoga County has developed a legion of thousands, even millions, of fans who tune into TikTok weekly to watch "The Dealership," a series of mockumentary-style clips styled after the hit television show "The Office."
Now nine episodes in and counting, "The Dealership" drops new content each Tuesday, amassing more than 1 million likes and 100,000 followers for the TikTok page of Mohawk Chevrolet, located in Ballston Spa, New York.
With titles like "Get Ducked," "Lemme Drive the Rado" and "Fellowship of the Recorder," the two to three-minute-long videos capture the essence of what made "The Office" such a comedic success: Absurd behavior, deadpan delivery and finding dry humor in the mundane 9-5 life.

The Saturday shooting that grazed Trump's right ear also killed former fire chief Corey Comperatore, and volunteer with the Lernerville Speedway Safety Crew for over 20 years.
Corey was a former fire chief of Department #27 in Butler PA, and a fixture at Lernerville Speedway in his hometown in PA, a member of the track's Safety Crew for over 20 years. He also sold 50/50 tickets at the speedway to benefit the BTVFD.
For nearly three decades, Comperatore worked at a plastics plant in the forested hills of Butler County, rising from maintenance supervisor to project engineer. In his spare time, he’d served in the U.S. Army Reserve and as a volunteer firefighter.
Comperatore rushed to throw his wife and two daughters to the ground, and used his body to shield his wife and two daughters, and died trying to protect them.
It's very rare that I can use the hero tag, but Corey earned it, no doubt more than the news will report during his decades as a firefighter. His name is taking the place of honor on this racecar
Have you seen Jack from Speed Bump Garage talk about buying parts for his 1970 Ranchero at O'Reilly Auto Parts? They ought to hire him to be the spokesman! ( I can't find a way to show you that video, so, I'll link to it)

Nascar is partnering with the Mazda MX-5 Cup series, there will be Miatas on Martinsville!
the Mazda MX-5 Cup series’ sanctioning body announced that the championship will partner with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour at the latter’s season finale for a doubleheader on October 26.
Both series will race the half-mile Martinsville Speedway, with Modifieds taking the track for 200 laps and Mazdas for 100 of their own. It’ll mark the first time open-top cars have raced at the track since the 1950s

Finally a stock car race in Nascar! Why is that important? Because a Mazda is relatively affordable for blue collar workers, and a Nascar full race car? Ain't ever going to be. Hasn't been for 40 years

George Poteet died today, age 76
Poteet grew up in rural Mississippi, the son of a sharecropper and a garment factory worker. He was the first person in his family to go to college, and he later built a fortune from a nutritional supplements company. He used that money to send his own kids to college and, with that out of the way, to go racing.

Tesla adds row of Cybertruck tailgate party seats and bike shield to the $300 accessory list
these are designed to go with the new Cybertruck Tailgate Shield, that in turn is meant to protect the bulletproof stainless steel body from scuffs and dings when transporting bikes and such.
I saw these in the parking lot at lunch the other day... cool grill ornaments. It turns out, I ran across the aircraft moving people that are taking the planes from MCAS Miramar to their new home.

ten Ford Raptor pickups have been stolen right after they were assembled
police say the vehicles were worth around $100k each, five of those pickups have since been recovered – one ran out of gas on I-75, and four others were found later that day at a gas station, where police arrested four individuals as well.
Why can't Ford get the message, and bump up security to where they CAYCH thieves IN the act, or before the new Fords get stolen
