the owner and restorer needed 2 of these to get all the parts needed to build one, as one has a rusty floor, the other had side trim, one had some interior things the other was missing, etc.
Anyway, great guy and he was telling me that a friend of his told him of this, a stalled project that had been sitting on a trailer for 2 years.
He had to buy it sight unseen, as the owner was not going to let anyone know where it was, as someone might not buy, but instead come back and steal parts off it. This happens.
So he had to buy the truck, and the trailer it was on, for 2500, but then the next day had the trailer sold for 600.
very nice
ReplyDeleteYes, very nice except for the giant Dork Wheels.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I cannot for the life of me understand the appeal of this trend. The wheels fill the entire wheel well..How does it even steer?
Deleteairbags. It's sitting on the carpet.... anyway, Nash figured out closed in little wheels 50 years ago
