Absolutely brilliant! That's the best collection of Keaton's stunts I've seen, excellent video quality too. I'd rate Keaton above Chaplin any day; partly because I preferred his character's more innocent persona. Thank you Jesse; you made my morning. Tony ps. I'd give a shout out to some of his supporting actors as well. While he initially picks up a dummy in the waterfall scene, that's a real girl he deposits on the cliff side. Whoever the actress was, she must have had some balls.

Me too, Keaton appeals to me with his ordinary guy in unusual circumstances persona. Welcome!
DeleteOh wow, that waterfall scene! I wondered about that
I liked it. Thanks.
ReplyDeletewelcome! I dig the classics!
DeleteWe're huge Keaton fans around my house. Once when we were watching Three Ages my 13-year-old said, "Silent comedies are the best comedies."
